Krabbe Disease

Krabbe (pronounced “crab-AY”) is a very rare form of leukodystrophy that affects the part of the brain known as the white matter. Nerve impulses cannot be conducted properly because of the loss of white matter in the brain. There is no cure for this genetic disease and it is considered fatal.
